Kerrie Havern, is a former wedding and event planner, boxing coach, charity founder, community activist and is a single mum to Finn.
Kerrie, from Newry, County Down, is extremely passionate about people and community, this is evident in the extensive charity work she does as an individual as well as the cofounder of Caring Coins Association, a community based café and charity. The tag line is Our Community, Our Responsibility. Kerrie and her trustees are passionate about ensuring all members and segments of the community have a safe space, a supportive environment and system to allow them to live a happier healthier life. The focus is on supporting physical and mental health through a warm, safe space to come and have a cuppa and a chat or via the many weekly events and groups ranging from crafting, to wellness, the busy bees and SEND community gatherings as well as educational talks.
Kerrie is also a proud Strikeback Self Defence Instructor supporting women and children through self defence workshops and empowering others to use their voice, boundaries and simple techniques to stay safe.
