You are here which means you’re here to grow and expand your own life.
With Hopeful Handbags, that same transformation is possible for survivors of domestic abuse and their children. Together, we can turn survival into success.
Here is a video from our CEO & Founder, Cathlene Miner, sharing part of her story and how you can make a real impact in the lives of real survivors.
This is your opportunity to be part of something bigger.
Join us soon when Hopeful Handbags CEO & Founder Cathlene Miner will lead an intimate conversation designed for women like you, women who are ready to take their influence, resources, and leadership and turn them into real, measurable impact.
She’ll share how Hopefull Handbags is transforming the lives of survivors and their children, reveal the power of our Shine and New programs, and show you clear, actionable ways to step in and make a difference.
This is not about charity. It’s about creating a legacy of empowerment that you can claim as your own, starting now.

Every contribution goes directly to survivors and their children, no overhead, no red tape, just immediate impact. And when women like us come together, small acts quickly turn into life-changing results.
Here’s what happens when groups of women give just $20 each:
3 people → groceries, transportation, and school supplies for a child starting fresh.
6 people → nearly one safe night in a hotel, plus a Hopefull Handbag filled with essentials.
10 people → more than one night of safety, childcare during legal or medical appointments, and a lifeline phone.
15 people → two full nights of safe shelter, clothing, and basic needs for survivors who left everything behind.
If just 100 women each gave $20, we could provide at least 12 nights of emergency shelter, along with clothing, shoes, and essentials for 6 families beginning again.
This isn’t about giving money away. It’s about turning your resources into freedom, safety, and dignity for women who are ready to rebuild.

Not every gift comes in dollars. Some of the most powerful impact happens when women give their time, their leadership, and their voice.
As a Hopefull Handbags volunteer, you’re not just helping, you’re leading change. You’ll have the opportunity to:
Host local bag drops that provide immediate essentials to women in crisis
Raise funds that expand programs and create lasting stability
Support survivors through our Shine and New initiatives
Use your network and influence to bring safety, dignity, and opportunity to those starting over
Whether you can give a few hours or step into a larger leadership role, your involvement becomes a lifeline, the bridge between survival and success.
