Cathlene Miner, Founder and CEO, Hopefull Handbags Global Non Profit

As the CEO and founder of Hopefull Handbags Global, Inc., I started this journey independently in 2017, driven by my passion to empower survivors of domestic abuse and their children. I’m proud to have built a team of dedicated volunteers on our executive board who take Inspired Action to ensure the organization operates efficiently, both in its daily operations and fiscal support. Each board member brings something unique, and the diversity of creativity and vision has been a key factor in our rapid global growth. I’m especially proud that every board member is an HH Certified Domestic Abuse Advocate, committed to our mission.

At Hopefull Handbags, our focus is on providing survivors and their childrenwith safety, health, wellness, long-term financial sustainability, and self-defense skills. Our programs, like SHINE and NEW, and our proprietary budgeting tool are designed to guide survivors toward developing a healthy self-perception and achieving a healthy life. All proceeds from our signature products go directly to supporting resources for survivors and their children, helping them rebuild their lives.

Beyond my work with the nonprofit, I’ve spent over 30 years sharing my knowledge of motherhood,  fitness, self defense, and emphasizing the importance of mental and physical well-being. 

As an author, I’ve written “The 30 Day Self-Perception Makeover,” a book aimed at helping readers boost their self-esteem and personal growth. and many other collaborative books including, “Handbags – How 12 Women Packed Their Bags and Turned Hope Into Happiness,” with all proceeds going to support survivors of domestic abuse and their children.

On a personal note, I’m a devoted wife, mother of four, and a proud grandmother, lovingly known as Sea. I believe in the power of trust,  community and connection, and my mission is to inspire others to embrace their strengths, foster resilience, and create brighter futures for themselves and their families.
